Deputies: Binghamton man had stolen construction material from various sites – Binghamton Homepage

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – A Binghamton man has been arrested after deputies say he was found with stolen construction material in his vehicle.

Deputies say they stopped a Dodge Durango for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign on West Service Road near Chenagno Street just after midnight on Saturday morning.

While speaking with the driver, Kole Rose, 28, deputies say they observed a large quantity of construction material stacked in the back of the SUV.

They say further investigation revealed that the construction material had been stolen from various construction sites in the City of Binghamton and Town of Conklin earlier in the evening.

Rose was arrested without incident for criminal possession of stolen property.

He was released on an appearance ticket to return to court at a later date.
